The Chinese American Film Festival (CAFF) is organized by EDI Media Inc. (USA). This grand annual event is supported by the China Film Bureau, National Radio and Television Administration, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the U.S, Co organized by China Film Co., LTD., China Film Promotion International, CCTV6, PGA, WGAW, China Television Drama Production Industry Association, Capital Radio & TV Program Producers Association, China Film & TV Producers Association, as well as other Major Film Studios, Hollywood Talent Agencies, U.S. Political figures and Top Filmmakers from both the U.S. and China.

In 2013, the CAFF Committee created “China’s Outstanding TV series Golden Angel Award” to provide a broader platform for cooperation in the TV industries, where over a hundred TV series participated.  Last year, with the permission of the State Administration of China Press, Publications, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT), “China’s Outstanding TV Series Golden Angel Award” had been officially upgraded to the “Chinese American TV Festival.”
